Initial Consultation
The initial paid consultation is an over the phone or in-person meeting to establish the vision for your investment. Over the course of one to two hours, we will discuss your ideas, while considering how we can make your visions a reality, together. The idea of this consultation is to have a broad, strategic conversation, that will enable us to understand your perspective, your hopes, dreams and aspirations for the future of your investment. As we exchange thoughts on execution and narrow down the possibilities and opportunities, we will establish what the next steps are for Stage Two. We will outline the necessary steps to take, which may include market research, cost, location, as well as our level of involvement.
You Retain Us
In this second stage, we will establish a consulting agreement with you. This stage allows us to define the scope of your project and to develop the next stages of the agreed upon vision, which is formulated into a detailed report in the following steps. This report will include suggestions for specific solutions, or ideas on how to implement your vision effectively. This stage allows us to formulate a written agreement together, which will define the outcomes of the report, our level of involvement, while helping to structure ideas and ensure transparency in this initial research phase. This is one of the most important phases in the early stages of agreement, as it allows us to define the terms of our engagement, and your project.
Project Planning & Development
In this phase, we are working to create the report that will formulate your business plan. Based on our initial conversations, and our outline agreement in Phase Two, we will be carrying out in the Project Planning Phase. This may include relevant interviews, site visits, discussions with designers, key staff, creating a budgetary framework – anything that will help us to deliver the core information and findings of our extensive research to deliver your project. At the end of this phase, you will receive the completed document.
Green Light
At this stage, we are working together with you, the client, to enter a Green Light phase. We recognise that there will be necessary amendments and discussions to have in order to finalise the report with you based on our findings. We see this stage as a collaborative one, where we are able to expand each detail of the starter-for-one document we created for you in the Project Planning Phase, and ensure that we finalise all key areas to find appropriate solutions. Modifications are par for the course in this stage, and once we achieve these together, we will move to Green Light, with funding approval to deliver the project.
Establishing Legal Structure & Initial Funding
At this stage, we set up a company on your behalf as our client. The necessary legal structure is also established by you, the client, via your preferred lawyers. In this phase, we expect initial funding to go into the company in order to get the project started. The outcome of Green Light will provide a necessary initial budget for what will be required to establish your business, for example to be able to secure a lease for a location, remodeling, hiring at an upper development level within the new company, and initiating those required to get the project up and running.
This is the initiation phase of the agreed upon, finalised report in step four, and arguably the most important step in developing your successful project.
Implementation Phase
This is the execution phase: we implement the key components to starting up your business, as discussed above. Once the funding is secured in the last step for this initiation phase, we are executing and effectivising the agreed outcomes. We help you to develop, where necessary, key areas in order to ensure the successful delivery of initiation and being able to open your doors for business. This phase is exciting, seeing all of our collaborative work become a reality, and at the end of this phase, celebrating this hard work.
Ongoing Operations
Once your business is ready to open, we help you to hire the daily staff – whether this be farmhands, front of house, or anyone needed to run the business who was not included in the Implementation Phase. At this stage, we aid you in managing the aspects of the daily shifting dynamics of a fresh business, helping you in managing the daily operation of your business. This can often be an incredibly demanding time, and we are with you every step of the way to make this transition to live, operational business that much easier and seamless. As the business progresses, we can also continue to support the daily operations as your company settles into its newfound success.
Moving with the times doesn’t necessarily mean leaving the past behind.
We believe a hand-made approach can co-exist with modern technology. Artisanal products, traditional farming methods, and sustainability can become more accessible, more financially robust, and healthier industries by tailoring in bespoke technological solutions that will minimize financial outputs, generate efficacy, and simplify processes, so you can keep focusing on what you do best.
